Ilya Sutskever
Ilya Sutskever is a renowned computer scientist, an artificial intelligence researcher and OpenAI co-founder, known for his disruptive work in the field of deep learning. He officially left OpenAI after a decade.
Born in Russia, Sutskever immigrated to Canada at a young age and obtained his bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Toronto.
He went on to complete his PhD in machine learning at the University of Toronto under the supervision of Geoffrey Hinton, a pioneer in the field of artificial neural networks.
